Suuuure, wolves are majestic.

A large male wolf trotted along the forests edge, looking for prey. His pack was somewhere behind him, then he heard the soft thudding of hooves.
One of his pack members was going for an elk! The male shot out of his hiding spot and bit at the creatures legs. Other pack members tore at his flesh, trying to drag him down.
After a while the elk let out a low cry and fell to the ground. While the prey was lying limp on the earth, one female stepped up and bit onto the throught, puncturing the windpipe and killing the animal.
Now, you're going to expect the wolves to eat all neatly, correct? WRONG!
Instantly the male dove for the stomach, and the rip of flesh split the air. The wolf had torn the stomach open! Yummy! Then the male, and a few others, shoved their heads inside, chowing down on anything they could grab.
Now the ripping and tearing of the elk was erupting from all angles. All the canines tore savagely at their meal, staining the snow bright red.
After a while of eating, low thumping foot steps sounded nearby. One of the lower rankig males was still eating. The wolf looked in horror as a large male grizzly walked up. The bear bellowed as he saw the wolf tense.
The wolf licked his sticky, blood stained muzzle, he attacked. What an idiot! What did he expect? The bear was going to leave? NOPE! In a few quick moments, a sickening crack split the air.
The wolf fell with a yelp, and lay lifeless, his neck cracked, on the ground, while the bear began to eat at the remains of the kill from the wolves.

Well that's not ALL the death stories of wolves, I'll tell you that! Here's another one!

One evening a female was trotting along through the snow covored fields of her homeland, happy as can be. She scented something nearby, and turned her head. She smelled a carcass!
Quickly the wolf shot over to the elk, and began to strip the meat from the bones, since her favorite part, the stomach, was already gone. It was great! But she wanted more!
She smelled fire nearby, and walked over. There was a camp, with two tents, and about four men sitting around a camp fire. One man turned around to the wolf and tensed, moving twords his rifle.
Feeling threatened, the female darted forward, leaping at the man. Rage burned inside of her, but her life was soon cut short. A shot wrang out and she felt a sharp pain in her head, then collapsed onto the ground.
Her eyes were glazed open and burning with the anger before her death. What a pity! "Well her fur would make a lotta money..." One hunter commented. "And her meat may make some good eats..." The other two nodded,
then carried the wolf's body away from the fire, while another got some knives for skinning her.

Now, please, don't BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW on me about this. I like wolves, don't hate 'em, but really.
